3rd year Actors have been working on The Seagull by Anton Chekhov under the guidance of Halldóra Geirharðsdóttir and Snæbjörg Sigurgeisdóttir. During the spring semester, students did a script analysis of the piece for 2 weeks with Kevin Kuhlke, art professor at NYU-Tisch and guest professor at the Performing Arts Department. Vala Ómarsdóttir and Katrín Gunnardóttir instructed students in movement and Tinna Ágústdóttir taught Tango in parallel with the project.

The aim of the course, The actor and the spectator, is to work deeply with situations and relationships. Working with the character through a traditional play students sharpen their skills as storytellers and artists.

Students composed and/or managed music and sound in the project.
