Hafnarfjörður Concert Band

Hafnarfjörður Concert Band is the municipal band of Hafnarfjörður town. The band was established in 1950 and should have celebrated its 70th anniversary last year. Due to the pandemic, all celebrations were postponed. Therefore, a belated 70 years anniversary concert will be held in Norðurljós, Harpa, on 19th October at 20:00. The program contains original music for band, by John Philip Sousa and Philip Sparke, among others, but some arrangements of music from musicals and movies will also be featured.
