FIMM ÁR the musical(The Last Five Years) is a love story about Cathy, a struggling young actress and Jamie, an up-and-coming writer. Jamie quickly become successful while Cathy is forced to spend her summers working in her hometown, "sharing a room with a former stripper and her snake, Wayne." What is interesting about this story is that Cathy's story happens in reverse chronological order while Jamie tells his story chronologically. The two stories only meet once in the middle.

The Last Five Years is written and composed by Jason Robert Brown. This is the first production of the show in Iceland that musical theatre lovers should not miss. The show is approx. 75 minutes in duration, no intermission.
