The 11th anniversary of the Icelandic experimental music festival Extreme Chill will be held October 7th – October 10th in Reykjavík.

This year, the Extreme Chill festival will be taking place in Harpa concert hall (Kaldalón), Húrra, Kex & Space Odyssey.

There, guests will revel in the craft of such experimental, electronica and classical artists as: Plaid, Roger Eno, Mixmaster Morris, BJARKI & Mathilde Caeyers, Ingibjörg Elsa Turchi, Kjartan Hólm, Hekla, Borgar Magnason, Harp & Arp, Skurken, Tonik Ensemble, Good Moon Deer, Brynjar Daðason & Hafdís Bjarnadóttir, MSEA, Soddill, Flaaryr, and more,!

The fundamental aim of the festival is to create connections between Icelandic and foreign musicians, conjoining different art forms-from electronic music to visual arts- and to draw attention to electronic Reykjavik, the Electronic Music Capital of Iceland.

Tickets to the festival cost a meager 11.900 ISK. The Festival pass also incl. the final concert of the Festival with the legendary band Plaid on the Sunday 10th of October.

A four-day music festival where local and foreign musicians of all ages and diverse backgrounds come together to create music under the inspiration of Icelandic nature. Extreme Chill will be a mystifying journey around electric Reykjavík.
