The bariton Hrólfur Saæmundsson is a well known opera singer. He sang the role of Germont in the production of La traviata at the Icelandic Opera in 2019 and received a great response from the audiences. He has performed in many opera productions in Europe, Australia and the US. He has worked extensively in Germany and is currently a member of the ensemble in Theater Aachen. Hrólfur and Bjarni Frímann Bjarnason pianist and the Music Director of the Icelandic Opera will perform some of their favorite repertoire in a concert on January 15th at 8 pm in Norðurljós at Harpa Concert Hall. Limited amount of tickets are available but the concert will be streamed directely on the website of the Icelandic Opera; www.opera.is. Covid guildlines will be strictly followed.
