IF NOBODY SAYS ANYTHING - THEN NOTHING CHANGES

The County takes place in a small community and tells the story of Inga, a middle-aged cow farmer who runs a deeply indebted dairy farm in a remote valley in Iceland. After a tragic loss, she decides to rise up against a corrupt establishment exploiting her and the local community, and finally live life on her own terms.

A brand new Icelandic movie from writer-director Grímur Hákonarson, who brought us the award-winning and critically acclaimed movie Rams that garnered rave reviews as well as many prizes on international film festivals around the world, where one of the highlights was winning the Un Certain Regard award in Cannes that are probably the most distinguished and important foreign film prize an Icelandic movie has received.

Premiers August 14th in Bíó Paradís in Icelandic with English subtitles.
