The Reykjavík International Children's Film Festival has become an important event in the Icelandic cultural calendar. Its aim is to present children, teenagers and their families with a selection of the most notable and award-winning family-friendly films, both live action and animated. The festival is held in Bíó Paradís and its first edition was in 2013. Vigdís Finnbogadóttir, the former president of Iceland, is the patron of the festival. 

Festival dates for our sixth edition is April 4th – April 14th 2019.
