A gripping true story of an entire classroom of twelfth graders in the Communist-controlled German Democratic Republic, that decide to show their solidarity with the victims of the 1956 Hungarian uprising by staging two minutes of silence during a lesson. But this small gesture causes much bigger ripples than expected and brings them into conflict with the school and government authorities. The students decide to stick together, making a decision that will change their lives forever.
The film will be screened with English subtitles on German Film Days that take place during February 1st – 10th 2019.
