In September 2015 there were 400 years since the slaying of 32 Basque whalers in Iceland.

In June 1615, Jón Lærði Guðmundsson, an Icelandic scholar, is waiting another year on the coasts of northern Iceland for the arrival of his friends, the Basque whalers. 86 brave sea lions that soon will be immersed in one of the biggest massacre in Iceland’s History. The time is now right to explore this intrepid adventure of extreme survival, through the eyes of the erudite Jón Guðmundsson; the scholar who publicly denounced the death of his Basque friends.
